How long before rightwingers offer to bribe Electoral College to vote against Obama?

Locker posted an article about rightwingers contemplating organizing a boycotting of the electoral college vote by Romney’s delegates.

On Sunday, Phillips proposed an action plan — getting Electoral College voters in states won by Romney to boycott the validation of the election result by the December 17 deadline.

I wonder how long before some Republican comes up with the idea of buying the electoral college voters off to change their pledge and vote for Romney? It’s not illegal as far as I know for an elector to sell his vote.

These days I can’t tell the Onion news Vs, the real news when it comes to rightwingers. So I will see if my wondering comes true?

I'll take that bet. If every elector votes as pledged, and no elector tells the FBI he was offered a bribe, I win. If any elector, for any reason, votes differently, you win, or if any elector tells the FBI he was offered a bribe, you win.

Because there just aren't enough options for the losing side when they lose the popular vote and the electoral vote....

I must be missing something. If only the EC voters in states won by Romney boycott.....wouldn't that just leave an electoral college result of 332 to 0?

Why waste all that effort: POTUS will be appointed by the chair of the Republican National Committee.
